Have you already considered the specific meaning of "vicissitude" concept?
To be honest i am not even shure about its meaning because i hardly use it on a daily basis; neverthless i like it!
And i like it just because "life vicissitudes" can explain most of the major issues wich one can refer.
In fact in the very end its the life continuing changing dynamics (in other words meaning vicissitudes) since the beginning of human kind (perhaps life, not just human kind?!) that explains most of the social, economical and especially personal different point off views about everything around us.
I am shure you have experienced situations completely different of the ones i have been through, and that explains with most shure why we have different points off view and give different thoughts on the same subjects, like for instance religion, politics and globalization. In the end it´s easier than that - we just have different educations! Since our birth our vicissitudes have not been exactly the same, so, it explains wars, it explains why we stand up for different beliefs.
